Kalitatea Fundazioa is committed to Internet accessibility and desires that as many users as possible can access this website, regardless of any disability. To this end, we use standard technologies established by W3C and we conform to their Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines level AA.

Following the WAI double-A accessibility guidelines, various measures have been adopted to ensure the proper disposition of all contents in this website:

How can I find my way around?

The www.euskolabel.net home page is divided into four areas:

  • 1. The header: Contains a horizontal menu with links to information about the Kalitatea Fundazioa

  • 2. Left vertical window: Links to Eusko Label products and companies and to other symbols of quality

  • 3. The central window: Important dynamic information, such as promotions, news, recipes, etc...

  • 4. Right vertical window: Links to the services of Kalitatea Fundazioa, events calendar, forum, photo gallery, etc...

When an option is selected, the contents pages are divided into four horizontal menus, located in the page header and visible at all times, to allow fast, clear navigation.

The upper horizontal menu, called the Foundation menu, includes everything related to corporate information on the Foundation:

  • The Foundation
  • Organisation chart
  • Activities
  • Beneficiaries
  • Control and Certification

Underneath this row of links, in the middle of the header, is the product menu, so-called because it gathers all information relating to Eusko Label products:

  • EUSKO LABEL PRODUCTS
  • COMPANIES
  • OTHER SYMBOLS OF QUALITY

The third horizontal menu, in the lower part of the header, is the services menu, which contains the following links:

  • Events calendar
  • News
  • Forum
  • Opinion polls
  • Jolastoki
  • Photo gallery
  • Recipes
  • Almanac and press section

Finally, there is the right-justified horizontal menu, located between the header and the contents block, which we refer to as the navigation menu, since it links to all of the sections necessary to facilitate navigation around the Eusko Label website:

  • Links
  • Contact us
  • Language

All of these options with their full content can be accessed from all pages in the website. For example, with one click, users can view the sitemap, which provides a panoramic view of the structure of the website and from where all of the sections can be accessed.

Navigation using the TAB key:

To aid navigation using the keyboard, the web pages have been designed so that the TAB key cycles through the contents of the pages in a logical fashion.

Keyboard shortcuts:

Keyboard shortcuts have been used to speed up navigation through the web pages. To use these shortcuts, the following key combinations can be used:

  • For Internet Explorer 4.0, Netscape and Mozilla Firebird: AALT + shortcut key.
  • For Internet Explorer 5 or higher: ALT + shortcut key + ENTER.
  • For Opera: SHIFT key + Esc.
  • For MacOS: the combination is CONTROL + shortcut key.

The shortcut keys used to navigate around the site are:

  • 0: Main pages
  • 1: Go to the Foundation page
  • 2: Go to the Products menu
  • 3: Go to the Services menu
  • 4: Go to the Navigation menu
  • 5: Open the sub-menu of the section being viewed
  • 6: Go to Contents
Can I change the text size?

The web pages do not use an absolute font size; rather, relative font sizes have been used to allow the user to modify these according to his or her needs, using the options of their browser to select larger or smaller text sizes.
